The purpose of the JR WATTS FOUNDATION is to provide assistance to individuals in Oklahoma who are living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and other neurodegenerative diseases.
106 Patients with over $23,400 in assistance in 2025
That is what the JR Watts Foundation was able to do in its first year. The majority
assisted were ALS patients. In 2025, there were 67 known newly diagnosed ALS patients in Oklahoma. At the end of 2025, there were 161 registered ALS patients in Oklahoma (but it is estimated that with those who have not registered, the number is closer to 250). There were 54 known deaths of Oklahoma ALS patients in 2025, several of whom had been assisted by the JR Watts Foundation. Thank you for supporting the JR Watts Foundation so we can continue to assist those affected by ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases.
